Traditionally the AGM would be held at the Hopeville in Inverurie where the committee for 2021 would be voted in and any proposals voted on. This still needs to happen and subject to any changes on restrictions the club intend to host this on Sunday 22 November at Grampian Kart Club.
A position on the club’s committee is voluntary and as such requires enthusiastic individuals to give up their free time for no real reward other than the club to see the club succeed. All positions are open but could also be shared to take the stress off one particular individual. Especially race day
roles or hire kart duties – these roles are reliant on the same faces which does leave the club vulnerable if one of these people can’t make it or steps away. If you fit one of the roles on offer please do come forward to be voted on.
Equally the AGM provides an opportunity for members to propose and vote on what they’d like to see happen with their club.
With the current restrictions we need to get a handle on how many people would likely attend so unlike previous years you will require to RSVP. Please fill in this form. Limit to one attendee per membership. Depending on
numbers there is no guarantee that everyone will get to attend. If we need to limit numbers the RSVP list will be used to “pull names from a hat”.
If you have any proposals please raise these by Thursday 19 November 2020 by filling the form at www.grampainkartclub.com/agm-proposal
