After a miserable start to the year, the sun finally appeared for the first race meeting of the season at the Boyndie Drome Circuit near Banff.

A strong grid of over 60 drivers attended Round 1 of the five-round Boyndie Drome Open Challenge (BDOC).

The feature trophy of the day was the Dickie Bent Cup, awarded by the track marshals to the driver who impressed them most.
